Soubeiran, Moon J 'My Touch' on Tortuga

Soubeiran and Moon J land on Tortuga with 'My Touch', a fresh Afro House cut that's already doing damage in the right sets.

The record arrives just in time for the summer. Charted by Hyenah for his 'Ready For Summer' playlist last month, it's got that open-air warmth and rolling groove that works from day to night.

"My Touch" glides on warm percussion and hypnotic vocal chants, with a deep bassline that keeps the floor locked. It's the kind of track that doesn't need to force the moment, it just builds it.

Tortuga continue their steady run of club-ready Afro House with this one. TT030 feels like the label in full stride.

Fabian Krooss 'Papilio' on Sounds Of Khemit

Sounds Of Khemit serves up a gorgeous remix package for Fabian Krooss's 'Papilio', with the Olivan Remix rising to the top of the pile.

The original is a delicate, organic house cut full of air and texture. Olivan's take steps forward and wraps it in a warmer, dusk-touched glow. Big rolling drums and a rounded bassline push it into the kind of late-night terrace territory that feels both weightless and grounded at the same time. The melodies breathe, the arrangement unfolds with real patience and the percussion shimmers in a way that's hard to fake.

Label Sounds Of Khemit has been quietly building a reputation for forward-thinking selections and their latest release follows that path.

'Papilio' is out now.

§This is Sounds Of Khemit's 4th release of 2024 on Beatport, of 5 the label has put out this year up to 16 June 2024.

Ziger 'Adapt' on Sudbeat Music

Ziger lands on Sudbeat Music this May with a fresh progressive house drop, the new 'Adapt', and it's already turning heads in the sets of the big players.

The release marks Ziger's first appearance on the label since July 2019, when he featured on Sudbeat Showcrates 6. A notable return for the artist, 'Adapt' arrives as Sudbeat's eighth Beatport release of 2024, from a total of ten the label has put out so far this year.

Cristoph picked it up and included it in his FaCet 3 Chart on May 30th, a solid sign of the track's pull on the dance floor. With its deep currents and carefully stacked layers, 'Adapt' fits neatly into that progressive sweet spot between hypnotic and driving.

§This is Sudbeat Music's 8th release of 2024 on Beatport, of 10 the label has put out this year up to 16 June 2024.

Djolee 'Horcrux' on Rummel

Berlin based label Rummel continues its roll with the release of its next solo EP, led by co-founder Djolee. Three tracks here, each one with its own mood, cast across what the label calls "the full spectrum of his eclectic sound."

Across 'Horcrux' you get complex percussion, shadowed atmospheres and melodies that lock in and hold. This is music built around hypnosis, the kind that turns a room into something else entirely.

The EP has already drawn early support from Nhii, who featured it in his Summer Vibes mix, and Fideles, who picked it up for See You In Dreams. Both landed at the end of May.

Rummel's description says it best: "With a mixture of complex percussions, dark atmospheres, and hypnotic melodies, this pack will cast a spell on any dancefloor."

&lez, Robin M 'Nija' on Ulu Records

Ulu Records has had a strong run of Afro House releases, and the label is keeping the energy going with a new collaboration from &lez and Robin M.

'Nija' is built on rolling percussion, warm bass and a sense of ritual. It's unhurried, deep and textural, the kind of record that works in the quiet hours of a long set when the floor has settled into a groove. The track sits somewhere between the spiritual pull of classic Afro House and the modern production clarity that defines the sound's current wave.

The release has already found support from Adriatique, who included it in their Changing Colors chart, and Fideles, who picked it up for their See You In Dreams selection.

Nathan Katz 'Dreamland' on All Day I Dream

It's been a few months since Nathan Katz last appeared on All Day I Dream, but he's right at home again with the gentle, organic house feels of 'Dreamland'.

There's a nostalgic, sunset-soaked quality to this one. The groove is soft and steady, with hand percussion and a slow-burn bassline that opens up into airy pads and a melody that feels both hopeful and a little melancholy. It's proper All Day I Dream territory, music made for golden hour terraces and late-night garden parties.

The label's been building its 2024 discography carefully, and 'Dreamland' arrives as its third Beatport release of the year, joining a run of five label drops heading into mid-June. For Nathan Katz, this is a return to a home label of sorts, following his contribution to A Winter Sampler VI in late January.

Lost Desert has already charted the track for May, and it's easy to hear why. There's an ease to how this one floats, unhurried and full of atmosphere.

Adam Port, Keinemusik, Stryv, Malachiii 'Move (feat. Malachiii)' on Keinemusik

Adam Port's 'Move' is still moving, delivering the standout vocal house record of the summer. The release on his own Keinemusik with Stryv and Malachiii is a pure summer record, cruising on a low-slung groove and Malachiii's direct, catchy vocal hook.

It's not hard to understand why. The same magic that goes into every Keinemusik release is all over it. Adam Port and Stryv's intricate production work with a high vocal line from Malachiii that calls for movement, bringing to mind the ease of old-school vocal house. As a release, it flows, impressing again the Berlin crew's

More of the summer's key records tend to land with the kind of seamless, no-nonsense groove that 'Move' brings. Adam Port has been living with this one for a while, and it shows. Malachiii's vocal is unforgettable, loaded with melody, carrying all the feeling it needs without overselling it. The low-slung, playful energy is exactly what DC-10 needs this season.

It's already one of the year's hottest records for Adam Port, and across Keinemusik's clubland dominance; a singular record that connects with dancers wherever it lands.

Sébastien Léger, Roy Rosenfeld 'Panko Day' on Lost Miracle

Sébastien Léger and Roy Rosenfeld deliver the latest Lost Miracle release, 'Panko Day'. A robust and immersive production that locks in an Afro house groove with hypnotic repetition and striking detail.

Built around warm organic percussion, a deep subby bassline and swirling textures, the track expands patiently. Synthetic flourishes and airy vocal fragments drift in and out, while the rhythm section remains the engine throughout. The Extended Mix gives it room to breathe, allowing the peak-time energy to develop slowly.

It marks another key release on Lost Miracle in 2024, the fifth the label has put out this year.

Sébastien Léger has charted it as his new favourite, with Roy Rosenfeld also supporting.

Memo Rex 'Vulcan' on Sol Selectas

Where to begin? Memo Rex's "Vulcan" is a piece of organic house with a tribal soul, out on Sol Selectas, catalog number SOL113. It came out on the third of May this year and is still finding its way into the right sets and the right moments. Sabo, for instance, slotted it into his Walking into Summer Chart on the fifth of May, and it makes sense there, something that unfolds slowly, with the sun still up or the evening just starting to lean into darkness.

This is the kind of track that carries a little heat in its chest. The drums don't rush, they pulse, with a depth that feels primal, almost ceremonial. There's a low, hypnotic vocal line that circles around the percussion, and while it never quite lets go of its grounding rhythm, it breathes. It feels like a memory of a ceremony, updated for a floor that understands patience.

Memo Rex's first Sol Selectas appearance this year was back in February with a contribution to the label's Global Entry 5 compilation, so this standalone single marks a welcome return. And with Sol Selectas continuing its steady 2024 output, "Vulcan" feels like a key piece in that puzzle, a track that knows exactly what it is: patient, powerful, and deeply rooted.

§This is Sol Selectas's 3rd release of 2024 on Beatport, of 4 the label has put out this year up to 16 June 2024.

Shimza, Rachel Chinouriri 'Parachute' on Helix Records

Helix Records continues to drop some of the finest Afro House on the market. And for the 130th release of 2024 on the label's Beatport account, they've enlisted a pairing we didn't know we needed.

'Parachute' sees Shimza and Rachel Chinouriri locking in for some pure, soul-soaked energy. It's warm, deep and emotive, with a gentle push that makes it work for both the sweaty late-night floors and those golden-hour sets.

Already picked up by Francis Mercier and Da Capo, this one has the right kind of momentum. 'Parachute' comes with an Extended Mix that stretches the groove out nicely.

For Shimza and Rachel Chinouriri, this is their first release together on Helix Records since March 2024's 'Darling (Extended Mix)', and it's a welcome return.
