Malive, Morgado, Gogoia, Gabriel Paes 'Quintal' on Madorasindahouse Records

Malive's latest 'Quintal' is an ode to the backyard, where everything grows, lives and gathers, forging a sense of community that makes it a safe space. Together with Morgado, Gogoia and Gabriel Paes, the song tells the story of how a "Quintal" is essentially the soul of the neighbourhood. Warmth, togetherness and care. It's about these environments where children learn the first steps of sociability, where music, cooking, and life intertwine, a place of true connection. The original is a gentle, organic piece of afro house. The remix on the other hand takes you to the open-air dancefloors of the Berlin summer, driving with the same gentle essence but letting their signature textures and sound design shine.

David Museen, Erik Christiansen 'Take It All Down' on NoRobot Music

Here we have the new NoRobot Music release from David Museen and Erik Christiansen, titled Take It All Down, and it comes with a Francis Davila Remix. Out on July 26th 2024.

The Original Mix is a driving progressive house mover with subtle rave influences and a solid, hypnotic main room groove, with a rich melodic arrangement. The Francis Davila Remix takes the track into tougher, deeper territory for the later hours, adding some chunky textures and a more heads-down approach.

A great new release from David Museen & Erik Christiansen on the consistently reliable NoRobot Music. Highly recommended.

Moeaike 'Maybe' on Rose Avenue

A pure slice of daytime emotion, Moeaike's new one "Maybe" has the balance of hope and hesitation running through it. Out July 19th on Rose Avenue.

There is a cool, clean breeze that runs through the cut, with an evocative piano hook and rolling organic percussion, while the pads and vocals seem to hover around it all. It feels understated, but the builds are inevitable and the drops cut deeper because of that restraint.

No sweeping statements needed here. Just a quality melodic house record that knows when less is more. It already found its way into charts from Rodriguez Jr. And Super Flu, both in the last week since it's release.

If this is the first you've heard of Moeaike, then it's probably best to get familiar. "Maybe" is the sixteenth release of 2024 to hit Beatport from the Rose Avenue label, and the quality across that run has stayed consistent.

§This is Rose Avenue's 16th release of 2024 on Beatport, of 16 the label has put out this year up to 28 July 2024.

Kurd Maverick, NODUS 'Rakkas' on Make The Girls Dance Records

Kurd Maverick and NODUS team up for "Rakkas" on Make The Girls Dance Records, a track designed for the peak season. Out on July 26th, 2024, it quickly found its way into HUGEL's chart.

"Rakkas" brings an Afro House groove that feels at home in Ibiza and Mykonos. The percussion works with a rolling bassline and pads to create a hypnotic, dancefloor-ready energy. The extended mix gives plenty of room for mixing.

Yuma, JEWELS, SOMMA, LE YORA, CHXRL 'LIFETIME feat. CHXRL' on LE YORA

LE YORA's catalog is moving fast, and this one's already picking up momentum. "LIFETIME" brings Yuma, JEWELS and SOMMA together with CHXRL on vocals, and it glides through melodic house and techno with a real sense of weight.

The track opens on a vocal hook that lingers, letting CHXRL lead the way. The production stacks rolling drums and broad synths, building a sound that feels huge but never loses its centre. It's peak-hour, hands-in-the-air material, but with a subtle melancholic pull that keeps it from feeling throwaway.

This is LY017E on LE YORA's own label, and it's been charted by JØRD on the Momentum Chart this week. If you're after extended mixes that work in big rooms and open-air slots, this one is worth your attention.

Wilgenis Vergara, Aaron Sevilla 'Torero' on AFRODISE

Wilgenis Vergara and Aaron Sevilla are teaming up for the latest release on AFRODISE, dropping 'Torero' on July 26th.

A proper Afro House cut built for the season, 'Torero' locks in a percussive, rolling groove with a vocal hook that lands. The kind of record that sounds right in the open air. Wilgenis Vergara and Aaron Sevilla keep the arrangement moving with layered drums, warm stabs and a hook that repeats without ever feeling tired. It's efficient, focused Afro House with plenty of room to breathe on a dancefloor.

'Torero' marks the first AFRODISE link-up between Wilgenis Vergara and Aaron Sevilla since their June 7th release 'Wakati'. This is the label's eighth release of the year.

HUGEL has already shown support, adding 'Torero' to his I Adore You Chart on July 25th.

§This is AFRODISE's 8th release of 2024 on Beatport, of 8 the label has put out this year up to 28 July 2024.

Hunter/Game, Ramverk 'Let Love' on Just This

Just This release 'Let Love' from Hunter/Game and Ramverk, with a remix from Recondite. The release is out now on Just This.

The title track 'Let Love' from Hunter/Game and Ramverk is an emotive cut with airy pads, deep, grooving rhythms and smooth synths. The remix from Recondite is darker, more driving, with shuffling percussion and a cavernous low-end, taking the track deeper into techno territory.

The release follows the pair's previous collaborative effort 'Stars' on Just This from earlier in the year, and is the label's second release of 2024 on Beatport.

§This is Just This's 2nd release of 2024 on Beatport, of 3 the label has put out this year up to 28 July 2024.

Monastetiq, David LeSal, Oysher 'Another World' on Siona Records

Siona Records continues its impressive 2024 run. The label has now put out 34 releases on Beatport this year, and the latest comes from Monastetiq, David LeSal and Oysher.

'Another World' is their first release on the label since 'Breathe' landed back in March 2023, and it marks a welcome return to Siona's catalog. The single arrives as the label's 34th release of 2024, and it has already caught the attention of tastemakers like Miss Monique, who featured it in her Every Breath mix on July 27th.

The Extended Mix balances melodic depth with a steady, hypnotic drive, mixing the three artists' distinct production styles into one cohesive sound. Fans of melodic house and techno with emotional weight will find plenty to sink into here.

BERLIN, 28 Jul

Sharam Jey, Kinky Sound, YARDi 'Opera' on Bunny Tiger

Sharam Jey teams up with Kinky Sound and YARDi for "Opera", out now on Bunny Tiger.

"Opera" is a hypnotic slice of melodic house and techno. It's built on a chugging groove that pulls you into its orbit right away. Warm, enveloping pads wrap around a steady pulse, while subtle vocal fragments drift in and out of the mix, adding an ethereal quality. The track gradually builds, introducing layers of percussion and texture that keep the energy flowing. The bassline is deep and driving, anchoring the whole piece as it moves toward its climax.

This is one of those records that works on a dark floor, where the lights are low and the sound is everything. It has that hypnotic quality that gets under your skin, a slow-burning intensity that rewards repeated listening.

"Opera" is available on digital platforms. It's the kind of cut that should find its way into sets from the melodic house and techno crowd, with its late-night mood and its steady, insistent rhythm. A solid addition to Bunny Tiger's catalogue.

Dalla 'Passengers' on Beeside Records

Ever get the feeling you're just a passenger in your own life? It's a thought that's crossed most minds at one point or another. Dalla channels that energy into a new anthem built for the main room. The track arrives with an extended mix, giving DJs plenty of room to work with its sweeping pads and driving beat.

"Passengers" carries a sense of motion, of movement through both space and emotion. There's something cinematic in the way the melody unfolds, hovering between euphoria and melancholy. This one feels designed for the moment when the lights drop and the crowd's energy peaks.

The release comes on Beeside Records, and it's already been picked up by Bruno Martini, who included it on his STATIC chart earlier this week.
