Atmos Blaq, Laniii K 'Ingane Zomama' on Rise Music

Atmos Blaq and Laniii K bring fresh fire to Rise Music with 'Ingane Zomama', which lands as the label's third release of 2024.

There's something about Afro House that hits different when the season turns golden, and this one slides right in. The record is a proper summer weapon. It's already doing damage in the right circles, with Hyenah picking it up for his July Heat chart.

The Rise Music imprint has been steady and intentional this year, and RISE025 is no different. It's a release that feels built for open-air dancefloors, warm evenings and that special moment when the drums take over.

§This is Rise Music's 3rd release of 2024 on Beatport, of 3 the label has put out this year up to 14 July 2024.

Nhar 'Visages' on Hoomidaas

Nhar's Visages, out on Hoomidaas, is organic house designed for those long, heat-hazed mornings when the party is still breathing. The label's fourth release of 2024 on Beatport, it lands with the kind of slow-burn mystique that suits its title. Faces, visions, impressions, Nhar builds a track that feels like shifting through them all.

There's a patient rhythm at the core, percussion dusted with subtle folk textures and synth work that glows rather than shouts. It has that quality of being both grounded and airy, a track that could anchor a sunrise set or dissolve into the background of a late afternoon by the water. The production leans into warm, organic tones while keeping a steady, hypnotic pulse.

Since Nhar's last appearance on Sounds Of Sirin in December 2023, Visages shows a further refinement of his sound, world-music touches woven into a house framework that stays hypnotic and unhurried. It's a release that doesn't chase you; it waits.

Support has been building too, with Armen Miran including it on LikeMinded 005 in July. That kind of nod from a discerning selector says plenty. If you're looking for something with roots, texture and a slow burn, Visages delivers.

Hardt Antoine 'I Will' on Kompakt

Some tracks just land right on first listen. Hardt Antoine's "I Will" is exactly that kind of record. Out now on Kompakt, this one brings exactly what you need for the warmest months of the year.

The track works a smooth, hypnotic groove with a vocal that immediately sticks. Melodic, driving, and full of feeling, it never feels too soft or too heavy. It simply pulls you in and keeps you there. The steady bassline carries the whole thing forward with subtle momentum, and the keys add warmth without overstaying their welcome.

Already supported in a chart by Fancy Inc, "I Will" is showing real early signs of life. While proper techno chuggers are still doing rounds, it's those emotional, well-crafted mid-tempo cuts that really keep floors alive in summer.

Hardt Antoine is no newcomer to the label's universe. His previous appearance on Total 23 offered a glimpse of where he sits stylistically, right between melodic house and deep techno. With "I Will," he refines that formula into something direct and fresh. Kompakt remains on a roll this year and "I Will" is another welcome addition to their impeccable run.

§This is Kompakt's 9th release of 2024 on Beatport, of 13 the label has put out this year up to 14 July 2024.

Caiiro 'Batumi' on OwnIt Music

Caiiro serves up the new 'Batumi' release on OwnIt Music.

This is the Berlin based artist's new cut for the label. It comes with the mark of OWNIT015 and is available across stores now. With a summer-ready Afro House feel, the track has plenty of depth and warm instrumentation throughout, carrying rich percussion and chanted vocals that add texture to the groove.

'Batumi' is currently picking up strong support in the scene, including a recent play from Hyenah on his July Heat show. Caiiro's latest finds the sweet spot between hypnotic rhythm and melodic flair, perfect for open-air settings and late-night sessions.

§OwnIt Music has too little history in the desk's records before the post date to count from.

Armen Miran 'Moving Space' on Hoomidaas

Armen Miran lands on Hoomidaas with the weight of a producer who knows exactly how to move a room. 'Moving Space' is out now.

The title says it all. A rolling, hypnotic groove that breathes, builds and pulls you in without ever forcing the moment. It's the kind of record that works in the long, patient sets, the ones that stretch past sunrise, where the dancefloor gets lost in the wave of the kick and the space between the notes.

This is Armen Miran's first release on Hoomidaas in over a year and a half, following 2023's Doors of Perception, and it arrives with a subtle sense of occasion. Hoomidaas continues its busy 2024 with another carefully selected piece of organic house.

For DJs, this is one for the journey.

IVAN MASA 'Invidia' on DESSERT

Berlin in July holds a particular weight. The night moves late, the air holds humidity, and the hours between sunset and sunrise carry their own tempo. IVAN MASA taps into that specific pulse with Invidia, a new piece for DESSERT that works in the spaces between tension and release.

'Invidia' moves through melancholy and momentum. It is melodic and heavy, melodic and driving. The synth lines seem to stretch and pull, the kick anchors the motion, and the textures break open just enough to let something darker surface. This is not a track that announces itself. It unfolds.

IVAN MASA's Invidia surfaces on DESSERT, July 12th, 2024. It has already found an early champion in Fideles, who placed the track in their latest The Puzzle chart for July 12th.

§DESSERT has no release history on file at the desk.
